First Post

Wordpress has been "down" ever since the wrath of typhoon Pedring. It's pretty disappointing since I really am in the mood to blog. I signed-up for a Blogger account (for the nth time) and probably blog here until the website goes back to normal. I can access the site; it's just that it doesn't show its real layout. It looks like plain html. You know, Times New Roman font with blue hyperlinks. I think it has something to do with the internet connection since Wikipedia doesn't work either.

So, anyway, hi! Maita is the name, writing is my game. I am a high school student from the Philippines. I write for my school's newspaper and I play the piano (but I am the laziest person when it comes to reading notes). I love to cook, watch Asian and local drama, do snail mail and bike. I love milk tea (nai cha) too. I can also read and write Chinese characters.

I named my blog "White Windmill" after a song written by one of my idols, Jay Chou. It is also my blog name on Wordpress.

I'm back on Blogger, which I call my real home. Feeling nostalgic now!
